Much-loved Calgary ice cream shop opens a new location
One of Calgary’s favourite scoop shops has just opened a brand-new location in the city and is hosting a grand opening celebration this weekend.
Made By Marcus teased its latest outpost in Greenwich Village earlier this summer, but it’s now open to the public.
On Saturday, Aug. 22, the spot will be celebrating in style, with $2 kids’ scoops and an in -store giveaway.

The Calgary-born spot is renowned for its extensive selection of ice cream, which is crafted from scratch using dairy from grass-fed cows and genuine ingredients sourced from farmers, roasters, distillers, and artisans.
The spot offers a rotating menu of flavours each month, as well as some tried-and-true favourites, including malted chocolate honeycomb, sea salt and goat milk caramel, and lemon curd blueberry. It also offers ice cream flights and sundaes.
Greenwich Village is Made By Marcus’ ninth location across Calgary and Edmonton, since it opened in 2016. Earlier this year, it also opened a Willow Park outpost.
