iögo yogurt drinks triggers recall due to presence of plastic pieces

iögoIt’s not a new flavour. The presence of plastic pieces in select iögo yogurt products has prompted Quebec-based Ultima Foods to issue a recall on seven skus of its iögo-brand yogurt drinks.

Per the notice on the website for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), the affected products were distributed across six provinces; BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.

Consumers are advised that the recalled products should not be consumed. If found in your fridge, throw them out or return to the store where they were purchased.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is continuing to conduct a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of additional products. If other high-risk products are found then the CFIA
