Here's how to get your hands on some Calgary Flames playoff tickets

Flames tickets are a hot commodity around YYC, especially during the post-season.

Seeing as the team has already secured their spot in the 2019 NHL playoffs, it’s time for fans to start figuring out exactly how they’re going to get their hands on those exclusive seats — and lucky for you, there are a few options.

According to a release from the Calgary Flames, playoff tickets will be available through three outlets before they become available on TicketMaster for regular sale.

First-round tickets can be purchased through a pre-sale provided by Flames Insider, which will give fans the opportunity to grab their playoff tickets through an emailed link — though purchase will be limited to two tickets per game.

Tickets can also be snagged at Golf Town through a random draw by entering their name on any Golf Town Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages. A similar draw will be held through local Calgary Co-op stores, though you’d be winning the opportunity to purchase the tickets, not the tickets themselves.

Any tickets that were not sold through the Calgary Flames’ official presale will become available on ticketmaster.ca at 10 am on April 4 — though we’d suggest signing up for the presale, just to be safe.

The 2018/2019 NHL season wraps up on April 6, meaning that the 2019 NHL playoffs are expected to begin just a few days later.

The Flames are currently leading the Western Conference with six points-worth of breathing room and just five games left, putting them in a better position heading into the postseason than they’ve seen in over a decade.
