Enjoy a fashionable day at the races at Packwood Grand
Packwood Grand, the ultimate celebration of old world leisure, is back in Calgary for the sixth year in a row.
This super classy event will take place on Saturday, July 27 at the Century Downs Racetrack.

Horse racing and high fashion have made Packwood Grand a must-attend social and lifestyle event of 2019, as it is expected to be attended by highly cultured, business-leading, and fashion-forward bon vivants.

Initially launched in 2014, the event had only seen a modest crowd of 300 people during its inaugural year.
This year, however, Packwood Grand is expected to see almost 2,000 well-dressed attendees.
Packwood Grand is set to be launched in Edmonton this summer as well.

“The event continues to draw new spectators to the sport of horse racing,” said Tyler Rygus, Packwood Grand’s executive producer, in the release.
“Our goal in building the event in Calgary, expanding to Edmonton, and markets beyond in the future, is to help racing remain viable in our province.”
The guest experience will include a specially crafted luncheon designed by the Packwood executive chef Dave Phillips as well as a menu of premium cocktails curated by the Packwood executive mixologist.
Guests will have private access to wagering kiosk terminals, concierge services, as well as betting assistance.
Optional luxury transportation to the venue is also available.
