The CPKC Holiday Train is rolling through Alberta this December, bringing lights, music and festive cheer to communities across the province.
Each year, the brightly decorated train winds its way across Canada and the United States, raising food and cash donations for local food banks. It has become a much-loved tradition, drawing crowds who gather to take in the music and festive cheer.
This year’s Canadian tour will visit six provinces and 13 states, with free concerts at every stop and a wicked lineup that features the Barenaked Ladies, Smash Mouth, Tyler Shaw and Brittany Kennell.
