A 20s-themed 'Great Gatbsy' party is coming to Calgary this May
How about an old-fashioned party, old sport?
Party Like Gatsby, the world-wide spectacle extraordinaire based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel, is coming to Calgary this spring.

The bash takes aspects from “The Great Gatsby” and turns it into a wild night of music, dancing, burlesque, classy attire, and drinking for one massive party.

“Dress in your finest attire and feel the vibrant pulse of the Golden Twenties,” reads the event’s website. “A world aimed to amaze, amuse and entertain you. Become part of Jay Gatsby’s inner circle, while dancing the night away with your friends, creating everlasting memories.”
“Party like Gatsby” combines shows and a party into one night that includes 20 world-class performers, live music and the event’s resident DJ, The Great Grantsby.
Unfortunately, tickets to the Calgary event are currently sold out on the Party Like Gatsby website, but many people are urging organizers to release additional tickets or host a second event.
It was also noted on the event’s Facebook page that would-be guests can purchase tickets from private sellers safely, as their support email ([email protected]) will validate and change the name on the resold ticket.
Failing all that… Here’s hoping that the party makes another stop in Calgary next year!
