Winter is coming (back) to Calgary for the Game of Thrones celebration at TELUS Spark.
On Sunday, May 19 “End of Thrones” is coming to TELUS Spark for an epic celebration of all things Game of Thrones, for you to rightfully bid adieu to the insanely popular television series as you await the show’s final moments.
- You can get Game of Thrones-themed Oreos in Canada right now
- Alberta launched more new breweries than anywhere in Canada last year

Each ticket includes reserved entry into the private Game of Thrones event, a Westeros inspired sampling plate, and general admission to the science centre.
With a number of things to transport you into the heart of King’s Landing — it wouldn’t be a complete Game of Thrones celebration without the addition of some good old-fashioned combat.
The event will feature medieval flights with The Barony of Montengarde, a Calgary-based organization “dedicated to researching and re-creating the customs, combat and courtesy of the Middle Ages.”
We may not be sure as to who will be taking the Iron Throne, but you can at least take your chance sitting on the replica throne that will also be at the celebration for the most epic pictures.
If that wasn’t enough, you can even carve your own house sigil, or get up close and personal with fire-breathing dragon Notorious B.A.D.
Tickets for the event are available online.
When: Sunday, May 19, 2019
Time: 12 to 5 pm
Where: Telus Spark
Tickets: $26 for adults, $24 for seniors, available online.
