Vancouver

Calgary

  • Calgary will host one of four dinners in the first annual Prairie Grid Dinner Series, a celebration of all things Prairie-made. The dinner will feature five chefs offering a multi-course feast inspired by the spectacular shapes, colours, and textures of the farming grid system.

Montreal

  • Embracing one of Canada’s most iconic delicacies, Montreal is hosting a BeaverTail eating competition on Saturday which will see competitors consume as many of the flattened fried dough treats as they can… sans hands.
  • Cricket burgers, silkworm tacos, and soft serve ice cream in a termite chocolate-dipped cone are now on offer in Montreal as part of the insect tasting menu offered by the Insectarium, now until September 4.
