Downtown Calgary just got a brand-new sushi restaurant
Downtown Calgary has just got a brand-new sushi spot, opening just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Fifth Avenue Sushi has just opened at 118 5th Ave. SW in the space that was formerly Fusion Sushi, where it will be offering modern, authentic Japanese cuisine.
The spot offers a wide selection of fresh sashimi, nigiri, and sushi rolls, as well as large plates such as udon and more.

Fifth Avenue Sushi will host its grand opening on Friday, Feb. 13, but if you’re looking for a last-minute Valentine’s reso, the restaurant will have special four-course set menus for the weekend, starting from $40 per person, as well as glasses of premium sake for $7 a glass.
Fifth Avenue Sushi is open from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 4 to 9 p.m. on weekends.
