As recommended by health officials, if you choose to participate in events outside of your home, please adhere to COVID-19 health and safety measures, including proper physical distancing, mask-wearing, and frequent handwashing. If you are sick, please stay home.

Camera users know all about adapting to their current conditions, and that’s exactly what the Exposure Photography Festival has done this year.

The festival runs now through February 28, bringing a combination of in-person and online exhibits to Albertans in 2021.

There are tons of ways to check out the 190+ artists who are featured in the Exposure Photography Festival, whether you want to do so outdoors, from behind your car window, in person, or in the comfort of your own home.

Walk along the Photoville FENCE at Olympic Plaza, do a drive-by viewing of the three Exposure Billboards, visit an exhibit at a local gallery, or tune in virtually to view a symposium or exhibition.

The festival has curated an impressive lineup of online exhibitions by photographers from all over the world, so you can get cultured right from your couch.

Going hand-in-hand with the online exhibitions, listen in while the visual artists discuss their work and the art of photography during one of many virtual conversations and symposiums.

Exposure Photography Festival events and exhibitions can be viewed at galleries and local businesses in Calgary, Banff, Cochrane, Edmonton, Medicine Hat, and Lethbridge (we recommend checking with venues directly for real-time updates about their current operations.)
