A restaurant where the menu is ALL DUMPLINGS? Can I get an amen?!
The dream is a reality thanks to Dumpling Lab. Opened this spring, Dumpling Lab is zeroing in on one of the world’s most perfect–and popular-foods: the glorious dumpling…in oh so many forms.
You got your potstickers, your steamed dumplings, and your boiled dumplings, but the “must-try” item is their XLXLB, as in it’s an extra large xiao long bao, or soup dumpling. Whoa, baby.
This bad boy is large and in charge, and runs a respectable $5.50.
That leaves you lots of room to chow down on a platter of their handmade dumplings (they’ve got boiled shrimp, pork, and garlic chive; steamed mango and shrimp; or beef, shiitake, kimchi potstickers, to name a few), or some of the (gasp!) non-dumpling items on the menu, from tuna poké to miso-braised pork belly.
Get saucy with your choice of four sauces from the free sauce bar. Plus Dumpling Lab has craft beer on tap and DESSERT DUMPLINGS in flavours like Yam or Black Sesame. Wooooo!

Dumpling Lab is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 am to 8 pm and Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm.
