Christmas came early to Calgary on Saturday night in the form of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train.
The 2018 holiday season marked the 20th year that the cheery train made its way across the country, departing from Montreal on November 27 and finding itself at Calgary’s own Anderson C-Train Station this past Saturday.

The event was free for all to attend, though donations to the food bank were encouraged.
The train was carrying performers Kelly Prescott, Terri Clark, and Sierra Noble throughout the eastern part of the country and through the Prairies, and will now be playing host to The Sam Roberts Band for the last leg of the trip.
Crowds of Calgarians came out on Saturday night to hear the show, see the lights, and take some spectacular photos of the magical train.
