One of Alberta’s most popular spots for dirty soda and sweet treats is opening a new location near Calgary.
Covet Sips + Sweets, known for its impressive array of beverages and baked goods, has revealed that it’s expanding, with a brand-new outpost opening in Cochrane.
The new spot is slated to open in early 2026, so there’s plenty of time to start planning your road trip.

After opening in Okotoks in 2021, Covet has become a firm favourite with locals for its flavour-packed lineup of dirty sodas, coffee, and sweet treats.
Founded by Meagan Layton and Whitney Smith, Covet is a go-to spot for those looking to get their hands on inventive sips, with the spot often taking inspiration from trending drinks.

If you’re new to the dirty soda game, Covet offers drinks with bases such as Coke, Sprite, root beer, Dr Pepper and more, which can be customized with everything from fruit purees, coconut cream, and syrups. You can truly choose your own adventure, or if the decision fatigue is setting in, the menu offers dozens of tried and tested concoctions.
The spot is also known for its just as inventive coffees and teas, as well as cookies, scones and more.
While Covet has yet to share details on its Cochrane location, we can’t wait to check it out.
