New Calgary bar offers tropical vibes and 70+ different chicken wing flavours
It’s been a lacklustre summer in Calgary, to say the least. But while the city has been dealing with rainy conditions, a brand-new bar is gearing up to open, and it’s serving a slice of island life.
Coco Cabana Club, a new tropical-themed bar, is opening on Calgary’s bustling 17th Avenue, where it is promising island-style cocktails, beach vibes, and late-night parties.
True to its name, the interior has been decked out with all the tropical decor from glowing lanterns and bamboo walls to palm trees aplenty.

The spot will have a menu of signature cocktails, each taking inspiration from warmer climates as well as classics such as Pina Coladas and Mai Tais.
While Coco Cabana Club has an extensive beverage menu, its food menu is just as large, featuring global street food favourites such as tacos, calamari, loaded nachos, and so much more.
It’s also going to be a must-visit for chicken wing lovers with a whopping 70+ wing flavours from your standard favourites, such as lemon pepper and buffalo, right up to curveballs, including Dubai chocolate and mini donuts. Yes, you are reading that right.
Coco Cabana Club is currently in its soft opening stage, so if you’re looking for some respite from the rain, island life is calling.
