Calgary burger restaurant to close one of its locations after 13 years

A long-time favourite for burgers is closing one of its Calgary locations this month, after opening over a decade ago.
Clive Burger has revealed it will be saying goodbye to its 17th Avenue location at the end of the month. The spot, which opened 13 years ago, will have its last day of service on Nov. 30.
However, Clive Burger won’t be disappearing altogether, with its outpost at Pineapple Hall on Stephen Avenue remaining. Here, Calgarians will still be able to get their hands on their favourites, as well as some new additions.

“We love our 17th Avenue community, and canāt thank you enough for the loyalty and support over the years,” the spot said in an Instagram post.
For those with Clive Burger punchcards, these will now be redeemable at the Pineapple Hall location, so guests will still be able to claim their free burgers and fries.
While it’s the end of an era for Clive Burger on 17th Avenue, we’re glad to see that it isn’t gone for good.
