You’ve only got a few days left to catch Cirque du Soleil in Calgary.
LUZIA is a Mexican-themed show and promises to bring audiences âto an imaginary Mexico, like in a waking dream.â The name is a combination of two Spanish words: âluzâ for light and âlluviaâ for rain.
The last time Cirque du Soleil was in Calgary was in 2015 with their show Kurios, and their last performance of LUZIA will wrap up this Sunday, September 22.

At the show, there are acrobats swinging and leaping, performing unbelievable feats, with some performances that feature water, adding âa level of acrobatic complexity never-before-seenâ to the show.
Audiences are taken on a journey from âan urban setting to the natural world, past to present, tradition to modernity.â
