Christmas day in Calgary forecasted to drop down to -14°C

This Christmas is expected to be a chilly one out here in YYC.

While temperatures are currently sitting at a (relatively) warm 3°C, this weekend will see the gauges plummet before heading into next week, and December 25 is looking to be the coldest yet.

Similar conditions will be seen on both Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, and unfortunately, the 30% chance of snow that was forecasted for Christmas day earlier this week has been replaced by a call for cloudy skies.

Well, we’re sure more snow than we can handle is on its way in the new year — this is Calgary, after all!
