U.K. cafe and dessert shop to open first Canadian location in Calgary

After teasing a Canadian expansion for some time, we now have confirmation that an exciting new brunch and cafe concept is making its debut in Calgary.

Chocoberry, a U.K.-born chain, is gearing up to open its first Canadian location in Calgary’s Kensington neighbourhood.

The cozy concept is known for its all-day brunch, handcrafted desserts and specialty coffee.

While each Chocoberry location is slightly different, expect dazzling floral arrangements and Instagram-worthy desserts. Among the treats on offer will be Chocoberry’s waffle bites, adorned with chocolate and strawberries. The spot is also known for its signature San Sebastian cheesecake.

“We’ve built a loyal following by combining bold flavours with a passion for quality and creativity, offering an experience that goes beyond just great food and drink,” the Chocoberry website reads.

Its first spot opened in Leicester in 2018, and has since expanded to dozens of outposts across the U.K. as well as Dubai and Sharjah.
