Calgary Zoo hosting trick-or-treating events this Halloween weekend

Start Halloween off early this year at the Calgary Zoo.

The zoo has announced their plans to host ZooBOO events this upcoming Halloween weekend, providing the opportunity to trick-or-treat while surrounded by some seriously stunning animals.

This year’s event will run over the course of three days to allow for physical distancing, taking place on October 30, October 31, and November 1.

All days will run from 9 am to 3 pm, though the 9 am to 10 pm time slot is for members only.

The ZooBOO events will feature treat stations all throughout the zoo grounds (sorry adults, but the treats are only for kids12 and under), as well as a photo contest where you can show off your costumes and be entered to win a four pack of tickets to the upcoming ZooLights event.

ZooBOO is presented by Servus Credit Union, and timed tickets are still available online.

Costumes are very much recommended, though keep in minds that adult full body costumes, blow up costumes, and full face masks are not permitted on zoo grounds, according to their website.
