A Calgary-based company just earned some global recognition, landing on a list of the world’s top employers in 2026.

Forbes, partnered with Statisca, recently released its seventh annual list of the world’s top employers, and Canadian Natural Resources made the cut.

To determine the ranking, Forbes and Statisca surveyed more than 300,000 employees across more than 50 countries, asking them to rate their employers on everything from salary and career advancement to work-life balance and company reputation. The final list features 900 companies headquartered in 52 countries.

Canadian Natural Resources ranked 676th overall and 21st among the Canadian companies on the list. The company moved up in the ranking from last year, when it placed 729th overall.

Founded in 1973, the company is one of Canada’s largest independent crude oil and natural gas producers, with operations focused on Western Canada, the United Kingdom’s North Sea, and Africa.
