Calgary will be getting a hint of warmer days to come this weekend.
It might be an understatement to say that Calgary weather can be all over the place throughout the spring, but we’ll say it anyway, because it also means that clear, sunny days in May can feel like winning the lottery.

It turns out that Calgary may have hit a 2x jackpot for this weekend, with both Saturday and Sunday being expected to see sunny skies and highs of up to 20°C according to the weekly forecast from The Weather Network.
They’re not nearly the scorchers that Calgarians are used to during Stampede days, but we’ll take whatever we can get.
Include in the fact that the sunny days come after a Friday filled with a 40% chance of showers and a high of just 15°C and we’re all the happier to see that temperature gauge reach above 20°C.
Looking a little further down the line will see feature a rather warm Monday at 20°C with another 40% chance of showers, while the Weather Network clocks in next Tuesday at a high of 22°C.
It might not be float-on-the-river weather quite yet, but it’s definitely a sign that we’re well on our way there.
