Calgary has been ‘enjoying’ nothing short of abysmal spring weather, and although things may have recently started looking up, the weather is expected to cool down again just in time for the long weekend.

Although last weekend was nice and sunny, this weekend we are in for showers from Friday to Sunday with a mix of snow, possibly adding to what has already been the snowiest May Calgary has seen in 4 years.
According to the weekly weather forecast from Environment Canada, Calgarians can expect up to 10mm of rain on Friday with a high of 7 and periods of snow or rain with a high of 6 on Saturday.
Sunday will have a high of 9 degrees with some clouds, and things are expected to warm up slightly — depending on what you call warm — by Monday, with clouds and a high of 11 degrees in the forecast.
Here’s to hoping sunnier skies are on the horizon. Keep those fingers crossed, people!
