This Halloween weekend to see sunny skies and highs in the double digits

This weekend might be spooky and scary, but Calgarians won’t have to fear the weather.

The Weather Network’s forecast for this final weekend of October is showing to be sunny and relatively warm, at least in comparison to the frigid temperatures we saw earlier this month.

There is no sign of snowfall being an issue for trick-or-treaters come Saturday night, nor anyone waking up with a Halloween hangover on Sunday morning.

Instead, Calgarians will be in for some cooler temperatures throughout Friday night of around -5Ā°C before an afternoon warmup to 5Ā°C accompanied by a mix of sun and clouds.

Halloween night will see some partly cloudy skies and temperatures of -1 that feel like -5Ā°C.

Anyone who is out especially late will see an overnight transition to November that will feel like -8Ā°C, so you may want to take that into consideration when choosing your costumes.

Sunday afternoon lives up to its name with mainly sunny skies and a weekend high of 12Ā°C.

By evening things will cool down to 5Ā°C that feels more like 3Ā°C, but it’s looking like the first night of the new month will be a starry one with mainly clear skies throughout the evening and partly cloudy skies overnight.

You never truly know what kind of weather November might bring, given how fickle Mother Nature can be here in Calgary, so we suggest enjoying the warm, sunny days as much as possible while you can!
