As the Calgary Stampede gets underway, Canadians have been turning to Google to plan for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
New data provided by Google Trends shows breakout spikes in searches tied to the Calgary Stampede, from parade routes and weather forecasts to chuckwagon tickets and western fashion.
According to Google, a “breakout” search indicates an increase in search interest of 5,000 per cent or more. It looks at search trends from the past month.
