It’s nothing but rain, rain, and more rain for the first few days of the 2019 Calgary Stampede.
The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth will kick off this weekend with some rainy weather in the forecast, beginning on Wednesday night with an 80% chance of showers, according to The Weather Network.

Thursday will be quite the downpour, with 10 to 15 mm expected throughout the day, and Friday will follow up with a 70% chance of 1 to 3 mm coming down.
A risk of thunderstorms arrives over Saturday and Sunday (alongside more rain, of course), with 15 mm expected on July 6 and 5 mm on July 7.
The clouds do eventually depart, as Monday only shows a chance of showers mixed in with some much-needed sunshine, a few showers on Tuesday, and just a 40% chance of rainfall on Wednesday.
Still, by the time all is said and done, Calgary could be seeing upwards of 45 mm on rainfall over the next seven days…
But hey, there’s nothing wrong with getting a bit of mud on your cowboy boots!
