Calgary police investigating Monday shooting in Auburn Bay area

Calgary police are investigating an incident that left a man with serious injuries.

At just before 5 pm on Monday, December 4, a gunshot was heard near the 100 block of Auburn Meadows Garden SE, prompting a call to police, according to a release from the Calgary Police Service.

Once police arrived on scene they found a man with serious injuries, who was then brought to a hospital.

The incident also involved the theft of a vehicle, according to the release.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
