Alberta does have some of the best stargazing in the entire world, after all.

Hladiuk will first sit down with the group and give a basic presentation on Astronomy before taking everyone outside to see the dazzling sky.

Hladiuk has appeared as Starman on the CBC’s Eyeopener program at least once a month for the last 33 years, giving a debrief on the latest developments in the world of space exploration.

The Night Sky Wonders event will be hosted at the Bow Valley Ranch Visitor Centre indoor theatre in Fish Creek Provincial Park.

It could get cold so participants are encouraged to wear warm clothing.
