Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. While most services remain open in Calgary, some will have adjusted hours as they observe the day.
Here are some services that will have adjusted hours on Sept. 30, 2025.
Calgary Public Library

Many Calgary Public Library locations will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, and some will be hosting events in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. You can find the full list of events the library has planned online.
Leisure Centres
Calgary leisure centres such as Village Square Leisure Centre and Renfrew Aquatic & Recreation Centre will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025.
Canada Post

The City of Calgary will operate buses, CTrains and On Demand on a Saturday level of service on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. Normal services are set to resume on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025.
