Grab your sunglasses and arrange the patio furniture because Calgary is about to be treated to some of the warmest temperatures so far this year.
According to the seven-day forecast from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Calgary isn’t looking too hot in the short term, but don’t worry, things are looking up.
For much of the workweek, Calgary is looking to endure below-average temperatures, sitting at a high of 11°C today and 14°C tomorrow, with a chance of showers today before transitioning to sunshine tomorrow.
Friday signals the rise in temperatures with a high of 17°C, and the thermometer keeps rising as we roll through the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday offering up highs of 22°C and 25°C and plenty of sunshine.
The real show begins at the start of next week, with a high of 28°C on Monday. Tuesday is sitting at a stellar 29°C, and if that is hit, it will mark the first time Calgary reaches that temperature this year.
