Calgary fundraiser seeking donations for frontline protective gear
Calgary doctor Breanne Everett has started a fundraising campaign to purchase additional personal protective equipment for frontline healthcare workers.
There is a projected shortage approaching of the necessary supplies to maintain PPE procedures in healthcare facilities, and Everett has been contacted by clinics and professionals who are unable to find masks and other supplies.
Overwhelmed! Thank you #yyc – I’m so incredibly proud to say that we just placed an order for:
20,000 N95s
10,000 surgical masks
Enough HEPA filter to fill 4000 hand-sewn masksThe GoFundMe is still open: https://t.co/wA2wgwsXtD
Let’s keep this going!
