Calgary doctor Breanne Everett has started a fundraising campaign to purchase additional personal protective equipment for frontline healthcare workers.

There is a projected shortage approaching of the necessary supplies to maintain PPE procedures in healthcare facilities, and Everett has been contacted by clinics and professionals who are unable to find masks and other supplies.

Everett has started an open funding campaign that has so far managed to procure 20,000 N95 masks, 10,000 basic surgical masks, and 4,000 HEPA filters to fill homemade masks.

The campaign is still running and accepting monetary donations, and Everett has put the call out on Twitter for trades that use masks to donate their supplies if possible.
