
Snow is on the way for Calgary, but it’s looking like it’s not going to last, with a 28-degree temperature change bringing some heat to the city.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the weather is set to bring some serious heat, with temperatures reaching 16°C next week.
Wednesday’s daytime high is set to reach 4°C, before dropping to -6°C overnight and bringing some snow to the city.
Thursday’s daytime high of -3°C will also come with light snow, followed by an overnight low of -9°C. Friday is even chillier with daytime temperatures reaching just -5°C, followed by flurries and an overnight low of -11°C.

Saturday continues with the cold weather, bringing daytime highs of -9°C and periods of snow, followed by the coldest temperature forecast, an overnight low of -12°C. Things start to pick up on Sunday with the daytime high sitting at -2°C, and overnight temperatures reaching -5°C.
Monday kicks off with the first below-freezing temperatures forecast, with the daytime high reaching 4°C, followed by an overnight low of 3°C.
Tuesday is when Calgary is going to see some warmth, with the daytime high reaching 16°C, a whopping 28-degree temperature change from Saturday’s overnight low of -12°C.
According to ECCC, the average high for this time of year in Calgary is 3°C and the average low is -8°C.
