While some parts of Alberta are set to experience some serious snowfall soon, Calgary will be seeing its own weather shake-up.
Looking at the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) forecast, it seems like we are on the cusp of a big drop in temperatures. It wouldn’t be spring in Calgary without it feeling like a weather roller coaster!
Calgary is forecast to hit a high of 13°C today with a chance of showers before temperatures dip tomorrow with a high of 5°C and even the chance of seeing some flurries in the evening with an overnight low of -5°C.
Finishing up the work week and heading into the weekend, it’s not going to be warm and sunny, with plenty of cloud cover and brisk overnight lows of -8°C and -7°C for Friday and Saturday night.
When you do the math between the daytime high of 13°C today and Friday’s overnight low, it’s a temperature change of 21 degrees.
It’s not all doom and gloom, though. Temperatures start to rebound as next week progresses, as April Fool’s Day will reach a high of 6°C.
