Devin Cooley is continuing to endear himself to Calgary Flames fans.

The 28-year-old is having a phenomenal rookie season, but it’s his personality which fans have grown to love. His extremely positive attitude and healthy mindset have garnered a lot of attention this season, as have some of his rather hilarious interviews.

Weeks ago, after picking up his first win of the season, Cooley revealed how he keeps himself calm and composed in game action.

“You really have to ground yourself,” Cooley said. “I think I’ve said this before, but I just go, ‘Nothing matters. Nobody cares. We’re all going to die. I just say that over and over and over again so that way I don’t get too excited.”

That quote quickly blew up, and the Flames goaltender has decided to capitalize on it. Even better, he’s doing so in a manner that will endear him to Flames fans even further.

“Nothing matters. Nobody cares. We’re all gonna die. Strut the Cooley mantra this holiday season!” a post on Instagram showing Cooley rocking his new merch reads.

The post also mentions that all proceeds will go to Parachutes for Pets, a non-profit charity in Calgary that helps low-income individuals, vulnerable populations, and families keep their pets by providing support in a variety of ways.

This specific merch line is available in both a hoodie (C$45) and a crewneck (C$40). Both are available in grey and white, and feature Cooley’s pet bunny, Tito, on the front and back.

“Show off your love for PFP, Devin Cooley, and his iconic rabbit Tito with our exclusive Cooley x Parachutes for Pets hoodie,” an excerpt on the Parachutes for Pets website reads.

“Featuring Devin’s famously chaotic quote, ‘Nothing matters, nobody cares, we’re all gonna die.’ This cozy, soft hoodie is the perfect blend of comfort and humour while supporting pets in need.”
