These five Calgary neighbourhoods are the most in demand right now

If you’re on the hunt for a home in Calgary, you might want to act fast, as a new real estate report just revealed which neighbourhoods are the most in demand. They all have homes flying off the market in two weeks or less.

Digital real estate platform Wahi just released its May 2026 report on the fastest- and slowest-selling neighbourhoods in the city with at least five sales.

Here are the six fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of May 2026:

  1. Oakridge, with an average of 12 days on the market
  2. McKenzie Lake, with an average of 13 days on the market
  3. Lake Bonavista, with an average of 13 days on the market
  4. North Glenmore Park, with an average of 13 days on the market
  5. Woodbine, with an average of 14 days on the market

Oakridge took the top spot with homes flying off the market in just 12 days. Last month, Mount Pleasant had the fastest-selling homes with an average of 13 days on the market.

North Glenmore Park had the highest median sold price at $1,060,000. On the other hand, Woodbine was the least expensive neighbourhood with a median sold price of $630,000.

Wahi also revealed the slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary, with some neighbourhoods taking over two months to sell homes

Here are the six slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of May 2026:

  1. Country Hills Village, with an average of 77 days on the market
  2. Taradale, with an average of 77 days on the market
  3. Rosscarrock, with an average of 75 days on the market
  4. Livingston, with an average of 73 days on the market
  5. Pine Creek, with an average of 72 days on the market

Country Hills Village took the top spot with homes taking a whopping 77 days to come off the market. It also found itself on Wahi’s list of the cheapest neighbourhoods in the city, with the median sold price sitting at $300,000.

Last month, Eau Claire was the slowest-selling neighbourhood with homes taking 89 days to sell.
