What: YYC Food Trucks is giving Calgarians the opportunity to extend their mid-morning feasts all the way into the evening with YYC Brunch Fest. This shindig is going down at Bridgeland Community Association (917 Centre Avenue NE) on June 8 and 9, and it will run from 11 am to 7 pm. Attendees can expect food trucks, brunch cocktails, live music, and a DJ all day long.

Woody ID Walk — Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs

What: Enjoy a walk through The Botanical Gardens of Silver Springs, stopping along the way to learn how to identify 15-20 trees and shrubs found in this expansive garden. Garden volunteer Teresa Lynch will guide participants through the specimens, offering three to four key identification features for each plant selected. This tour is for anyone interested in knowing more about the trees and shrubs around them and the diversity of woody species that can be grown in the Calgary area. This walk will take place rain or shine. Pre-registration is required.
