You can fly from Calgary to Cancun this fall for under $300 roundtrip

If you’ve been dreaming of warmer weather and sunnier skies, you’re in luck.

American Airlines has apparently taken pity on our freezing souls and reduced the price on trips from Calgary to the Mexican resort town of Cancun for this upcoming October.

We’re talking white sands, warm sun, and all the Piña Coladas you can drink.

The deal’s availability may not be until fall comes around, but you’ll be thanking your past self once the cold starts returning to Calgary come October.

The trips were dug up by flight-finding website YYC Deals, which is a pretty solid place to daydream about your next big vacation.

The easiest way to find the deal is to go to Kayak and search for flights between Calgary (YYC) and Cancun, Mexico (CUN) for any of the following date combinations:

October 4, 5 to October 14, 15
October 11 to October 19, 21, 22, 23, 24
October 18 to October 22, 23

There is a layover both ways, but you should be able to find some flights where the total trip time is just nine hours.

Not a bad price to pay when roundtrip flights between the two airports usually come in at around $600.

Once purchased, all there is left to do is count down the days until take-off!
