It might just be time to pick yourself up a new pet.

The Calgary Humane Society is hosting an emergency bunny adoption event this weekend, as they are over capacity for the furry little friends.

Anyone who is hoping to take home a bunny will be able to choose their own adoption fee with no minimum, though they do hope that people pay something to ensure that the animals are going to a good home.

All adoptions will also be sent home with a rabbit start kit filled with bunny supplies.

The event runs from February 6 to 10, and those hoping to take a look at the potential pets can head over to the Calgary Humane Society’s website.

Adoptable bunnies include names like Brown Sugar, Bert, Tango, and (our personal favourite) Happy Monkey Buns.

Once you’re all ready to adopt, you just need to head over to the Calgary Humane Society and they should get you all set up with the proper forms.

According to a Facebook post from the Calgary Humane Society, one lucky bunny named Dude has already found himself a home.
