Fireworks lit up the night over Calgary on Canada Day (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)

The Calgary sky was alight on Sunday night in celebration of Canada’s 151st birthday, and it was not a show to miss.

Taking off from the Centre Street bridge, the ENMAX show began promptly at 11 pm on July 1.

Thousands of Calgarians came out to see the dazzling display, and more than a few were quick enough with their cameras to capture the colourful eruptions.
