It is, of course, all part of the Beltline Urban Murals Project, which concludes its four-day mural festival on Saturday, August 31, with a packed schedule of programming from early afternoon to late evening.
By the end of Saturday, Calgary will gain 15 new murals that bring colour to large blank walls that otherwise go unused.
This includes a colossal eight-storey mural by artist Fluke Art, which took 13 days to complete by hand. The building is located at the corner of 17 Avenue SW and 10 Street SW.
