Long-standing Calgary coffee shop opens a brand-new location
One of Calgary’s long-standing cafes has just opened its second location in the city.
Since 1991, Caffe Beano has been a staple in Calgary’s cafe scene. Despite only having one location at 1613 9th St. SW, Caffe Beano has built a loyal fanbase among Calgarians.
However, after decades in business, a brand-new location has just opened in the city’s Uxborough neighbourhood.
“For over 30 years, Beano has been a place where community and coffee come together — and now, we’re bringing that same spirit to a new neighbourhood,” the team said in an Instagram post.

The spot offers a large menu of espresso-based drinks, teas, Vietnamese coffee, milkshakes, and so much more. It also has plenty of delicious eats for those looking to grab a snack, from baked goods to breakfast sandwiches and bagels, courtesy of local business Wayne’s Bagels.
It’s an exciting new step for a legendary Calgary business.
Caffe Beano’s Uxborough outpost is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
