Team behind a top Calgary patisserie opens new pastry shop with crossandwiches
A new spot specializing in croissant sandwiches, gateaux glaces and more has just opened its doors in Calgary.
Poésie, a new pastry shop concept in Kensington, has been brought to life by the team behind Yann Haute Patisserie, the popular French bakery.
Located at 1119 Kensington Rd. NW, Poésie has taken over the spot that was previously home to PB and J.

Crossandwiches are one of the specialties here, with both sweet and savoury varieties to enjoy. Among the choices are chicken pesto with bechamel, Comte, truffle Gouda, oyster mushroom and candied salmon and shiitake.
For those with a sweet tooth, its crossandwiches are available stuffed with gelato or sorbet. There are also gateaux glaces (or ice cream sandwiches for the non-French speakers among us) and cake frappes loaded with cake pieces.
The spot is an exciting new location for the very best French baked goods and pastries in Kensington.
