One of the many things that the coronavirus pandemic brought many of us, was loneliness – but ‘Build Your Circle‘ is a program for women in Calgary that aims to combat just that.

The program kicks off on November 15, and aims to highlight the need for female adult friendships, building them through online events and activities that nurture that need to be part of a larger community.

“[The goal of the program is] to help women authentically connect in the virtual space in an effort to help women fight loneliness by helping them create authentic friendships and build a local community,” says Jessica Painter, founder of In Her Circle, which is running the event.

This program could be a great opportunity for women who are interested in developing genuine connections with other women, and are ready to build up their inner circle.

The ‘Build Your Circle’ program includes women from ages 20 to 50-years-old, and runs for four weeks.

“Due to the pandemic, social isolation is on the rise, so we are doing our best to fight that and bring sisterhood back into style,” says Painter.

The deadline to enroll is November 1, and the program will start promptly on November 15.
