Taking place on October 20 at Hotel Arts, the giant party aims to raise funds for Rethink Breast Cancer’s programs, spread awareness about breast cancer prevention, and provide support for individuals under 40.
According to organizers, the reasoning behind this year’s theme comes from the idea that “breast cancer diagnosis can often feel as though you’re in the Wild West with all of the information that’s out there.”
Boobyball was launched in Toronto in 2002 by a group of dedicated young women in support of their friend, Sarah O’Regan, who at just 23-years-old was diagnosed with aggressive and advanced breast cancer.
Over the past 16 years, Boobyball has raised over $4.7 million dollars for Rethink Breast Cancer.
For those who have yet to attend a Boobyball party, you can expect experiential activations, on theme decor, VIP guests, complimentary food and drinks all night, and incredible themed costumes all with a southern twist and in support of the breast cancer cause.
Buy tickets while you can and find out more about the event on the website, or check out the official event hashtag #boobyball.
