Yukon man dances Bhangra on frozen lake after getting COVID-19 vaccine (VIDEO)

One Canadian is literally dancing for joy after receiving his COVID-19 vaccine.

Renowned Bhangra dancer Gurdeep Pandher took to social media on March 2 to share the news that he’d been vaccinated, and spread some of the positive energy he is famous for.

“Yesterday evening I received my Covid-19 vaccine,” Pandher tweeted.

“Then I went to a frozen lake to dance Bhangra on it for joy, hope and positivity, which I’m forwarding across Canada and beyond for everyone’s health and wellbeing.”

The video has since ben viewed over 2.7 million times.

“I’m happy I was able to raise awareness about vaccine for wellness of all people,” Pandher said, sharing another joyous video.

The Whitehorse, Yukon, resident is a professional Bhangra teacher and uses the traditional, upbeat Punjabi folk dance to build a human connection with Canadians from all walks of life.

While he regularly shares videos of himself dancing Bhangra in Yukon’s wilderness, Pandher has danced with young hockey players, Indigenous groups, and members of the Canadian Armed Forces, spreading positivity and acceptance with each new clip.
