Taiko Taco, Zilford’s Fried Chicken, and a mini put spot Lucky Putt welcomed YYC to their 3851 Manchester Road SE spot on August 1 for the first time. This is the trifecta of flavour and fun, not to mention there will be nine holes of mini-golf, hip hop, music vegan-friendly food, bao buns, and soft-serve ice cream.

We’ve been excited about Moonlight & Eli since we first heard word of it opening its doors in Calgary, and now the time has finally come to enjoy the new concept. The new 627 1 Avenue NE eatery specializes in cheese fondue and champagne, an awesome pairing if you ask us.

This “Fast-Fine Diner” is open daily from 7 am to 3 pm. Serving up a menu of eats like a Falafel Scramble, a ‘Miss Piggy’ egg and crispy bacon breakfast sandwich, and nacho cheese fries as a side. Chix also has its liquor license, and something called French Toast Pie alongside salads, a fantastic selection of sandwiches, and a giant warm half-pound chocolate chip cookie.

Just BBQ recently opened its doors at 120-1211 Edmonton Trail, and it’s serving up traditional cuisine Wednesday to Monday from 3 to 10:30 pm. This new spot offers a selection of Taiwanese appetizers such as ‘Night Market Sausage’ and kimchi, along with an array of mains like Korean Style Beef, Stir-Fried Seafood Udon, and dumplings.

Snowy Village – Calgary

The new sweet spot opened at #101 3604 52 Avenue NW just last month, but Calgarians are already loving the selection of treats this ever-growing chain has on its menu. Snowy Village offers patrons a variety of goodies like Korean-inspired Bingsoo, a shaved milky ice dessert with sweet toppings like mango chunks, Oreo crumbs, red bean, Injeolmi (rice cake), and cheesecake.
