Barry’s Bootcamp is about to open back up to the public.

The new workout studio located on 4th Street SW had reopened earlier this summer thanks to Phase 2 of the Province’s Relaunch Strategy, but had to close up again last Wednesday due to “the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in a neighbouring studio,” a release from Barry’s states.

Following a review of their safety protocols, the fitness studio announced on Sunday that it plans to open its doors to Calgarians as of Tuesday, July 21.

“At this time, we have no confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the Barry’s Calgary team and will keep monitoring the health of our staff as we open our doors once again,” the release states.

The studio also outlined their health and safety policies that are in place as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, which include mandatory touchless temperature checks, masks worn by all staff members, shield guards at front desk, decreased Red Room capacity, no shared equipment, a no touch policy, and showers, lockers, and water fountains being unavailable, among others.

Those hoping to sign up for a class can do so online at Barry’s Bootcamp’s website.
