Google gets in on the Avengers: Endgame hype with this Thanos-themed Easter Egg
Google has hopped on the Avengers: Endgame hype train by offering a pretty cool Easter egg involving Thanos, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s mad titan.
During the conclusion of last year’s Avengers: Infinity War, (spoiler alert!) Thanos, after gaining infinite power through the infinity gauntlet, snaps his fingers and decimates half of the living creatures in the universe.
Today, Google pays tribute to the most powerful being in the MCU by offering a pretty fun little time-waster.

On desktop or mobile, simply google “Thanos” and click on the gold-coloured infinity gauntlet to see what happens — we’ll wait.
Are you back? Did you disintegrate?
Clicking on the gem-studded glove, the power of the Infinity Stones wipes away half of Google’s 90,700,000 results to just 45,350,000 in less than half a second.
That Thanos is mighty powerful, even Google is no match.

Click the glove a second time to return the virtual world to normal. Maybe The Avengers can take a page from Google in trying to restore order in the universe as Avengers: Endgame snaps its way back to theatres today.
