Alberta Treasury Branches (ATB) has amped up their donation contributions in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A tweet from ATB on Friday, April 3, announced that the finance company will be matching 50% of donations made to Alberta charities through ATB Cares in the month of April.

ATB Cares is ATB’s cause-of-choice website that enables Albertans to donate to charities through their officially registered platform, with ATB matching 15% of all donations to Albertan, non-religious charities, up to a max of $1,000 in matching per donation.

They’ve since upgraded that donation match to 50% in the face of coronavirus, in an effort to minimize the impact on Alberta’s communities.

The 50% donation match is eligible for donations made through ATB Cares in the month of April, up to a maximum of $100,000.

“Here’s your chance to give back to those who need it most,” ATB Financial’s tweet reads.

“We’re here for you, Alberta, and we’re stronger together.”
