The Kelowna mobile marketing startup GetintheLoop has launched a $10,000 community investment program to support small businesses in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

GetintheLoop hosts exclusive deals for local consumers from local businesses. Alerts, specials, and more are featured in themed ‘Loops’ — Golfing, Staycation, and Restaurant loops were all popular before the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, GetintheLoop is giving members exclusive access to win gift cards in order to support their local business of choice.

“Our team felt called into action when the world came to a pause and small businesses across the country were left scrambling to find ways to survive with the hopes to one day thrive again,” said GetintheLoop in a release.

“Our company is now gearing up to adapt to help local businesses everywhere connect to their community and inspire consumers to think local first, not just now but always.”

A $10,000 investment will see 500 GetintheLoop members rewarded with the ability to support their local businesses. The rewards will be dolled out during three weekly contests in each of the company’s 63 Canadian markets.

“Together if we think local, and stay connected we help one another get through this and help our communities recover sooner.”
