Amplify is meant to serve as an extension of NMC’s onsite programs, including exhibits, artist development, performance, and education.

“Now nearly a year into the pandemic, it’s become clear how much we need music in our daily lives to help us get through these challenging times,” said Andrew Mosker, President and CEO, NMC.

“Music connects us and keeps us engaged when we are not able to be together and, most importantly, it inspires, heals, and brings solace to our lives.”

Amplify’s visitors can take a guided tour of the museum virtually, explore articles about NMC’s vast collection of historic musical instruments and memorabilia, or learn more about the power of music in healing and wellness.

Also accessible online are concerts featuring Canadian artists, and fun videos designed for students and families to learn about the connection between science and sound.

The digital platform aims to connect music fans everywhere through this Canadian hub of sounds and stories.

Check out Amplify beginning February 24 to watch, read, listen, and explore our incredible national talent.
